
Club Universidad Nacional A.C., better known around the world as Pumas UNAM, will be coming to the New WakeMed Soccer Park to take on the Carolina RailHawks in an international exhibition on Wednesday, March 20th at 7:30PM. Pumas UNAM, a 7-time champion of Mexico and 3-time CONCACAF Champion, currently plays in Mexico’s top flight, Liga MX, and most recently claimed the 2011 Clausura title. Tickets for the match between the RailHawks and Pumas UNAM will go on-sale Tuesday, February 26th at 10:00AM and can be purchased through the St. Lawrence Homes Box Office.
One day prior to the game on March 19th, Pumas UNAM will hold a training session open to all individuals who have purchased a ticket to the March 20th Pumas match. The training session will be held at WakeMed Soccer Park.
“We are thrilled to be hosting Pumas. The match is another marquee event for the New WakeMed Soccer Park and I feel will be a tough ticket to get,” said RailHawks President Curt Johnson. “The interest level already is incredibly high. I suggest that fans act quickly to ensure a seat on March 20th. As well fans with tickets to the game are invited to attend a special Pumas training session on March 19th.”
In addition to individual tickets, the ‘Pumas 3-Game Pack’ will go on-sale Tuesday morning and includes tickets to RailHawks home matches on March 20th vs Pumas, April 20th vs Fort Lauderdale Strikers, and August 17th vs New York Cosmos. The ‘Pumas 3-Game Pack’ is available in Spectator, Premium, and Club seating sections and includes a 15% to 20% discount off ticket prices, starting at $30 per pack.
Individual ticket prices will range from $15 – $50 and will include a ticket to the March 20th match as well as entry into the Pumas training session on March 19th. The international exhibition against Pumas UNAM is included as part of the RailHawks 2013 Season Ticket Package and currently a presale is ongoing for all 2013 ticket package holders to purchase additional tickets prior to going on-sale to the general public.
