CARY, NC (July 11, 2022) – North Carolina FC defender Christian Lue Young has been named to the USL League One Team of the Week for Week 15 of the 2022 regular season, the club announced today.
Lue Young earns Team of the Week accolades for the third time this year, following a standout performance in NCFC’s 1-1 draw against Union Omaha on Saturday. The defender recorded his first assist with the club during the match, contributing to the buildup of Jaden Servania’s goal in the 39th minute. Lue Young also added seven recoveries and six clearances, winning 75% of his ground and aerial duels throughout the contest.
