CARY, N.C. (Nov. 12, 2024) — North Carolina FC forward Oalex Anderson has been called up by St. Vincent and the Grenadines for a pair of matches in the League B Group Stage of the CONCACAF Nations League.
St. Vincent and the Grenadines is set for a pair of matches against Montserrat and Bonaire during the window. The match against Montserrat will be on Thursday, November 14, at 3 p.m. ET and the match against Bonaire will be on Sunday, November 17, at 3 p.m. ET. Both matches will be played at El Salvador’s Estadio Cuscatlan.
Anderson has 20 goals and five assists in 43 caps for St. Vincent and the Grenadines, including five goals and four assists in 15 appearances in the Nations League. Anderson was recently named a Sporting Ambassador by St. Vincent and the Grenadines prime minister.
Anderson scored 13 goals and added three assists in all competitions for NCFC in 2024, with his playoff-clinching goal on the final day of the regular season breaking the club’s career goal-scoring record. The striker has 37 goals in his NCFC career.
