CARY, N.C. (Jan. 26, 2024) — North Carolina FC today announces its five-game preseason schedule, including a February 17 scrimmage against Carolina Core FC that will be open to the public.
The scrimmage will kick off at 1:00pm ET on Field No. 7 at WakeMed Soccer Park. Tickets will not be required for the game and parking will be free.
Carolina Core FC is an independent club based in High Point, North Carolina, that will begin play MLSNextPro in 2024. Carolina Core FC is coached by N.C. alumn and former U.S. national team and MLS forward Roy Lassiter.
In addition to the open game against Carolina Core FC, North Carolina FC will play four closed-door games as part of its preseason slate.
Preseason training for the team will begin on Monday, January 29.

North Carolina FC will open the 2024 USL Championship season at home on March 9 against the Charleston Battery.
