North Carolina FC took down in state rival Charlotte Independence this past weekend with a 2-0, giving them the clean sheet. With even possession in the first half, Oalex Anderson was able to put North Carolina on top for the lead at half. The lead was doubled after Garrett McLaughlin gave Anderson a perfect layoff pass to have a screaming ball off the cross bar into the net.
