“Hispanic heritage and culture are engrained in the fabric of our community and what better way to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month than with the global game,” said North Carolina Football Club president Francie Gottsegen. “Hispanic roots run deep both in our roster on the field and our fan base, so we wanted to provide an outlet to display the cultural pride and sense of community in a fun, collaborative space. We hope everyone will come out and participate before what should be a great soccer match that evening.”
During the match, fans can continue to immerse themselves in Hispanic culture with more entertainers on the concourse, exclusive video board content and a raffle for three jerseys signed by North Carolina FC players with Hispanic heritage — Nelson Flores Blanco, Nicolás Molina and Jaden Servania. Team posters will also be given out after the match and players will be available for autographs and photo opportunities with fans following the final home match of the season.
