Cary, N.C. (August 12, 2016)- The Carolina RailHawks and Capital Area Soccer League (CASL) have extended their existing collaboration to offer new benefits for CASL members. The new benefits include tickets to Carolina RailHawks games, in-game experiences, and pre-game clinics at WakeMed Soccer Park for CASL recreational players.
Since 2007, the clubs have worked together to grow soccer in the Triangle, most notably in 2013 with the creation of the Capital Area RailHawks Academy that provides an unrivaled environment in North Carolina for the best youth players. This new partnership extension will provide game benefits to CASL members and make it easier for CASL players to attend games. It will also expose players and coaches to high-level professional soccer on a regular basis, thereby increasing their knowledge, passion level, enjoyment and understanding of soccer.
Approximately 200 complimentary tickets to select home games will be available to CASL players, head coaches, assistant coaches, and team managers. To receive player and coach’s tickets, simply call the box office at 919-459-8144 the week of the game, and provide your name and CASL team to redeem the tickets. This CASL specific offer is on a first-come-first-served basis.
“The RailHawks are thrilled to enhance and extend our collaboration with CASL,” said RailHawks President and General Manager Curt Johnson. “Player development and player enjoyment are at the center of this new agreement. We [Carolina RailHawks] strive everyday to be the best pro soccer organization in North Carolina, and our two dozen plus youth soccer partnerships are shining examples of the benefits of collaboration and pooling of resources. We are just scratching the surface of the potential of the sport in North Carolina.”
An additional benefit of the partnership between the RailHawks and CASL includes 20 percent off regular season games for all family and friends. Simply provide the promo code “CASL” at checkout when you order tickets on CarolinaRailHawks.com.
The partnership extends to in-game experience opportunities including ball kids, player companions, and fan tunnel kids where participants will be able to experience the electric game-day environment by standing on the field with the players themselves
CASL will also host clinics for CASL recreational players at WakeMed Soccer Park before select RailHawks games. CASL recreational players are invited to join CASL staff and Carolina RailHawks players for a fun-filled evening to improve their skills by learning from professional soccer players.
