Cary, NC (Aug 3, 2016) – The Carolina RailHawks announced today a multi-year agreement with United Soccer Club located in Wendell, N.C. to deliver its RailHawks Elite Technique® supplemental training program to USC Challenge-level players and coaches starting in the Fall 2016 season. The agreement also provides special opportunities for USC’s players, parents and coaches to experience the thrill of RailHawks games in a more up-front and personal way such as special on-field experiences.
“The RailHawks are commited to youth player development throughout North Carolina, and bringing the RailHawks Elite Technique® training program to another youth soccer club is further proof of that commitment,” said RailHawks Director of Youth Programs, Jared Musante. “We have been very impressed with the focus of USC’s leadership on player development. Their desire to provide a comprehensive program for players and coaches in the club aligns directly with our efforts to help grow the game through our unique Elite Technique® programs.”
The RailHawks Elite Technique® program is an elite-level supplemental training program patterned upon the most successful professional youth training programs worldwide. The curriculum was developed by the RailHawks professional technical staff and is based on decades of direct youth academy and professional playing and coaching experience in the U.S. and Europe. Elite Technique® training aims to develop the “complete player” by addressing all aspects of the game – technical, tactical, physical and psychological – in a way that challenges a player to push past existing skill levels in a constructive, positive environment that builds their passion for the game.
“I just want to say what a great opportunity this is for the players in United Soccer Club,” said Darin Dixon, Director of Coaching and Founder, USC. “The chance to be trained by the Elite Technique® staff and experience RailHawks games in a more active and personal way will be tremendous for our players’ and club’s growth. To be one of the first clubs outside of the Raleigh area with this great program is a differentiating factor for us. It is a great testament to our club’s hard work and desire to give all players in our club and area a unique opportunity to develop as a complete player.”
“The RailHawk Elite Technique® coaching staff is very excited to have partnered with USC,” said Sam Stockley, Director of Elite Technique® Coaching. “This is a wonderful opportunity for both RET and USC as we grow the game in the area and help clubs with the development of their players.”
The RailHawk Elite Technique® coaching staff will work with USC’s players and coaches on a weekly basis over 20 weeks during the Fall and Spring seasons.
