The Carolina RailHawks will host their seventh annual Taste of the Triangle food and drink festival prior to their regular season match against FC Edmonton on Wednesday, October 14th at WakeMed Soccer Park. Taste of the Triangle festivities will run from 5:30 pm to 7:15 pm. This will be the RailHawks’ last festival of the year and fans will not want to miss it! Festival admittance will be only $10 for adults and $6 for children between the ages of three and six years. RailHawks’ 2015 season ticket holders and accredited members of Triangle Soccer Fanatics & Oak City Supporters will receive festival tickets at a special rate of $8, and can secure tickets by calling the Johnson Maserati Box Office at 919-459-8144.
Originating in 2009 as the first RailHawks Pregame Festival, Taste of the Triangle is a unique opportunity for fans to enjoy a wide variety of exciting food and beverages from the Triangle area. The festival will feature local restaurants, breweries and vendors offering complimentary samples ranging from burgers to sweet tea to North Carolina barbeque.
Festival attendees will have access to an assortment of unique cuisines that includes vendors such as Passanante’s, Adams Vineyards, The Chef’s Academy, Papa John’s, Duck Donuts, Bojangles, Which Wich?, Mellow Mushroom, KocinA, Jimmy John’s, Tijuana Flats, Coffee & Crepes, Tra’Li, PDQ, Relay Foods, McCall's Barbecue and Seafood, and Sweet Tomato’s.
Taste of the Triangle will also feature live music from The Color Exchange, presented by ReverbNation and complimentary samples of Crown Royal Regal Apple provided by North American Wine & Spirits. Lonerider beer will be available for purchase courtesy of RA Jeffreys. Taste of the Triangle is a one-of-a-kind event for RailHawks fans looking to eat, drink and celebrate with other fans prior to the team’s second-to-last regular season home match.
With entry, attendees will receive a sampling bracelet that provides access to restaurant samples, alcohol tastings and live music. Taste of the Triangle is a can’t-miss tailgating event for the RailHawks community.
