In a week highlighted by the invitation of two Academy Members (Gabe Findley & Duncan Wegner) to the U-14 U.S. Youth National Team training camp in California, the Capital Area RailHawks continue to excel on the field. All three Capital Area RailHawks Academy teams played consecutive matches against the Carolina Rapids on Saturday and came away with two ties (U-14’s & U-16’s) and one loss (U-18’s). After Saturday’s results, the U-14’s and U-16’s are still undefeated.
This coming weekend the U-16’s and U-18’s will travel to Orlando, FL and Charleston, SC to take on Orlando City on Saturday and SC United Battery on Sunday. The U-14’s will not return to action until Saturday, October 4th when they host the NC Fusion at WRAL Soccer Center.
