CARY, N.C. (June 21, 2018) – Mark your calendars for a historic night, North Carolina FC and NC Courage fans. North Carolina Football Club has announced that Sahlen’s Stadium at WakeMed Soccer Park on September 8 will host its first-ever professional doubleheader on a game night celebrating service to the community.
The full night of soccer kicks off at 5 p.m. ET as NCFC takes on Nashville SC for First Responders Night presented by Duke Energy. Following that game, the NC Courage will hold Fan Appreciation Night for its regular-season finale and host the Houston Dash at 7:30 p.m. ET in a match presented by Cotton Incorporated.
In a celebration of the NCFC Family and giving back to the community, the club is asking all fans to rally together in support of a used denim drive, sponsored by Cotton Incorporated. Fans attending this historic doubleheader are encouraged to bring old or unwanted denim for upcycling. Cotton Incorporated’s national denim recycling program, Blue Jeans Go Green™, allows consumers to recycle old, unwanted denim and upcycle it into UltraTouch™ Denim Insulation to help with building efforts in communities across the U.S., keeping old denim out of landfills.
NCFC and NC Courage season ticket members will receive access to both games. More details will follow in a direct communication to season ticket members in the coming weeks.
