LEESBURG, Va. (October 24, 2025) — North Carolina FC will be on the road for the final week of the 2025 USL Championship regular season, taking on Loudoun United FC on October 25, at 5 p.m. ET at Segra Field. The match will stream on ESPN+.
NCFC enters Week 34 in sixth place in the Eastern Conference standings, with a record of 12W–11L–6D (42 points).
While NCFC and Loudoun United FC have already clinched a spot in the playoffs, the two, along with Pittsburgh and Hartford, are battling for the final two first round home playoff match. NCFC can clinch a top-four finish with a win over Loudoun plus a Hartford draw/loss against Louisville City FC or a Pittsburgh draw/loss against Phoenix Rising FC.
NCFC is looking to close out the regular season on a strong note and build momentum heading into the playoffs amid a three-match scoring drought.
In his first year in Championship play, Pedro Dolabella has been one of the leaders of an NCFC attack that has produced 39 goals this season. The midfielder has scored seven goals, the second most on the team, while tallying three assists.
Oliver Semmle earned his third clean sheet of the season in the 0–0 draw with Rhode Island, saving two shots while posting a 100% save percentage.
SCOUTING LOUDOUN
Loudoun United is in a much better place than it was this time last year. After finishing in 11th place in the Eastern Conference standings in 2024, Loudoun enters the final week of the season in fifth place with a trip to the playoffs booked for the first time in club history.
Loudoun has produced one of the league’s strongest attacks this season, scoring 45 goals, tied for the sixth-most in the league this season. Abdellatif Aboukoura has found the most success in the group, knocking in 12 goals and creating 31 chances.
Defensively, Hugo Fauroux has saved the second-most shots in the league with 78, sitting only four behind the leader for the Golden Glove award.
