Debinha and Rosana Called to International Duty with Brazil in Friendly Against Bolivia

North Carolina Courage players Rosana and Debinha have been called to represent their native Brazil in its upcoming match against Bolivia on April 9 in Manaus, Brazil.

Rosana has been on the Brazilian roster since 2000. In that time, she has scored 3 goals in the FIFA Women’s World Cup for Brazil as a defender. In her 17-year international career, she has participated in an impressive four FIFA World Cups and four editions of the Olympic Games, since starting with the first team at just 18 years old.

Debinha has 21 international goals since 2011. She has scored two goals in 7 FIFA World Cup appearances, and also represented Brazil in the 2010 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup.

Debinha and Rosana will be back when the North Carolina Courage kick off their inaugural season on the road on April 15 as they visit the Washington Spirit.
