Debinha Called Up to Brazilian National Team

Cary, N.C. (July 11, 2017)- North Carolina Courage forward Debinha has been called up for international duty with the Brazil women’s national team for the Tournament of Nations to take place July 27-August 3.

This four-team international tournament hosted by the US Women’s National Team features three different venues on the west coast. The countries invited to participate in this year's Tournament of Nations include Brazil, Japan, and Australia. Brazil will compete in matches against Japan on July 27, USA on July 30, and Australia on August 3.

Debinha has been played an important role on the Brazilian women’s national team since her debut in 2011. She has scored 21 goals in 53 appearances, including two goals in seven FIFA World Cup appearances. Her most recent call up was in June for two friendly matches against Spain and Iceland.
