Elite Technique-Goalkeeping is a weekly, elite-level supplemental training program designed for goalkeepers to master fundamental techniques and focus on components of the game within their control.
Replicate game situations to develop tactical awareness and improve decision-making.
Training addresses all aspects of the game: technical, tactical, physical and psychological.
Players will have the freedom to make mistakes to enable them to push past existing skill levels.
Training led by Director of Elite Technique Goalkeeping, Nic Platter, and other NCFC professional coaching staff.
Training sessions predominantly held at WakeMed Soccer Park’s world-class soccer fields.
32-week training program divided into two 16-week Cycles (one Fall program and one Spring program).
Fall session runs from early August through late-November; Spring session runs from early February through late-May.
One training session per week for 1¼ hours per session.
$899 for BOTH 16-week Cycles (paid in full at registration)
$499 for each 16-week cycle (2 auto payment plans available)
(1) 2 payments of $499, first due at time of registration and 2nd due January 6, 2017)
(2) 4 equal payments of $249.50
You must register for the entire 32-week series – registration for individual Cycles is not an option. Players may withdraw from the program at the end of a Cycle and future Cycles will not be charged.
Players will also receive one Elite Technique Goalkeeper training jersey with their registration.
Age groups 2016-2017:
(1) 2005-2006 Boys/Girls: Fridays: 5:15pm-6:30pm
(2) 2003-2004 Boys/Girls: Fridays: 6:30pm-7:45pm
(3) 1998-2002 Boys/Girls: Fridays: 4:00pm-5:15pm
Player Evaluation Events are held to determine readiness/acceptance into the Elite Technique program. New players must send an email to Anne Mann, Youth Programs Manager, at Anne@NorthCarolinaFC.com to set up an evaluation to determine readiness/acceptance into Elite Technique Goalkeeping.
